Rob and Janneke couldn't have made us more welcome, thank you. Chalet Esher is a home from home, spacious and stylishly furnished, extremely comfortable beds, brilliant views, plus everything you could possibly need equipment wise. This would be enough, but the added bonus is hosts that go the extra mile and then some more. Try the delicious bakery, and stock up at the local supermarket, both only a couple of minutes drive away. And with easy access to the motorways for the ski resorts, what is not to love!

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Gilbert's place! The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal—close to everything I wanted to explore, yet peaceful and relaxing. Gilbert was an exceptional host, providing thoughtful recommendations and being incredibly responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. The chalet was in a perfect location and had everything we needed. The resort was lovely and local amenities easily accessible. A COOP supermarket a few minutes walk away and a smaller supermarket a few doors away. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing summer holiday in this chalet. Ellen is a very attentive and responsive host (remote) who also gave good advice re activities etc. Blatten is perfectly located for beautiful hikes. Highly recommend!

I found this place at the last moment. It was one of the chipest offers for my dates, but description was too cool for this price so I had some doubts. Me and friend of mine were not need to much , so I booked it anyway. And it appears amazing place! Everything is written about this room is true. Checking in and checking out is contactless and easy, but if you need something, the host works in a small market downstairs and respond quickly in WhatsApp. Parking is free. Room is very clean and new, and very well designed. There is a lot of space. Big balcony with table and seats to have a morning coffee. Big table on the kitchen, sofa, at the top half-floor there are 3 beds. In the room I found everything I need and even more! A lot of different beautiful plates, glasses , cups, coffee machine and free coffee. Everything to cook like pots , frying pans, cutting boards and even set of spices! Fondue set is also presented. Washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, big fridge. There is no big markets close to this place, but if you have a car it is not a big problem. I definitely recommend this place, especially if you travel with family for a long period. Thank hosts for this nice stay again!

Stunning views over the Alpes just in front of us, we could even see the Matterhorn on the far right. We sat on the balcony for hours to enjoy the views. Super clean, spacious, everything you need. Separate Kitchen so no food smell in the bedroom. Perfect location!!!! Peaceful, beautiful, relaxing.

    Rob and Janneke are very friendly and welcoming hosts who are willing to help out with additional requests or tips for the local area. The house is well equipped and the beds very comfortable. Lovely mountain and valley view from the balcony. The welcome snacks and drinks in the apartment were a nice touch. Great base for day walks in the surrounding mountains and conveniently located for the Simplon pass.
