It was tucked away a couple of miles off the main road with spectacular distant views over the black forest areas. Fabulous sunsets, peaceful and quiet with cows grazing next to the property. We were two couples traveling through Europe and Bauerleshutte was a perfect place to stay for 3 days. Would recommend as it had everything we were looking for. Really friendly host (Peter). Can’t English but we could work out things together. Lovely apartment. Clean and comfortable. Location is great. Safe garden for kids to run around. I would recommend this place. We would stay again.

This place is a highlight of my trip. It is a perfect 10. The view from the patio is like a photo in a travel brochure. If you visit the Black Forest area I highly recommend to include a stop in Saint Peter and stay here.

Idyllic location directly at the lake. Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet with very good selection of loose, organic tea, also coffee and freshly prepared scrambled eggs included, tasty bread etc. View over the lake from the restaurant and the apartment. The apartment is furnished with beautiful, modern furniture of solid wood. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit older, but fully functional and everything is absolutely clean. Sauna and swimming pool are included.

Martin is the best host by far we’ve ever met in Germany. super attention to details to his guests and treated us like his family. once he knew we did not have a car on the day we arrived, he drove us to the nearby groceries to get some dinner. he even dropped us to the nearest station when we departed. Amazing host and If youre looking for an authentic German traditional guesthouse this is the one you should go for to experience. love their warm and cozy Christmas decoration!

It's spacious, has great furniture and fittings, a bathtub and a well equipped fully functional kitchen. Izabela was a wonderful host --- she communicated well, she got us some chocolates and brochures about local attractions and hikes. Parking is conveniently located in the basement. We had a great place to cook, eat, rest and recover after exploring fantastic places in and around Titisee during a hot summer weekend. I totally recommend!

    Spacious, modernly decorated apartment with beautiful bathroom, convenient kitchen, comfortable living room, private balcony, and small private garden with BBQ. Excellent location at the foot of the Ravenna Gorge near Hinterzarten, Titisee and other sights within the Black Forrest. The host are really friendly and helpful. An excellent value.

    The apartment was clean and easy to find with plenty of room and was really comfortable. It had everything I needed and I loved having outside space. There’s a small supermarket and a restaurant in the village and more shops, restaurants and cafes in the nearby town. It’s really well positioned for visiting local lakes and hiking trails, and there are trails right on the doorstep too. Drive back to Freiburg was only an hour.
