Sabine, our host, was very helpful - even giving us a lift to and from the train station. The apartment itself is very well appointed with everything we could have wanted. It was spacious and ideal for a couple visiting Freudenstadt and the Black Forest. The area itself it great with endless networks of trails for walks of all lengths and level of challenge. The apartment came with local visitor cards allowing free use of local buses, trains and free access to visitor attractions including five local golf courses.

    I just had to call Markus upon arrival. Since we speak English, he had his brother greet us and introduce us to the apartment. We didn't have a car, so the very close proximity to the Hauptbahnhof was great. There are grocery stores a very short walk away (near train station). The Marktplatz and its restaurants and shops were easy to get to, either by bus or an envigorating walk uphill. The building is close to hiking/biking trailheads.
