Fantastic place to stay, entire well equipped apartment for very little money, incredible balcony with good views, on site parking, host spoke a bit of english and was very friendly.

It's a truly great place to stay. With so much attention to detail the space is cosy and functional. I only stayed one night but could easily stay for a week! The room is big with lots of storage space. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners are lovely and they go above and beyond. I had a great stay and my dog really enjoyed the dedicated blanket, towel and water bowl. And the surroundings are truly beautiful with lots of green space for dog walks.

We stayed at Mara for one night on the way to our final holiday destination and booked short notice, yet everything was ready including a cot for the baby. There is also a selection of drinks in the fridge (complimentary, to be paid separately) which was very welcome after a long drive. The apartment is clean and quiet with a sunny balcony and a roofed terrace. Everyhing was spotless. It lies across from a small river with a water mill and fish pond. Toys are available and our children also liked the small bit fun playground nearby.

Very nice and comfortable accomodation with own parking place, quiet neighbourhood. 3 km from the Bayreuth center that is reachable quite easy, ca. 35 minutes walking. There is a public transport bus station as well. During high season acceptable price.
