    The Royal Terrace studio was clean and comfortable. We thought the bed and pillows were especially good. The air-conditioning worked well and the refrigerator was clean and fresh. The host was very friendly and helpful. All though the location is about a 30 minute walk from the malecón and center of town, we quite liked the neighborhood we were in. There were some nice colmados as well as some convenient and tasty take out places nearby.

    Everything. Clean modern updated apartment, fully supplied with everything needed. The host, Berta, was very pleasant and always available. She personally met us at early am hours when we arrived. She was ready to meet our needs at any time, and kindly provided us with all information that we needed for our stay.

    The location was great. It is a 15 min walk to cultural centre of Puerto Plata and a 10 min drive to the cable car station. The apartment had a lovely balcony with a great view over the city and ocean. Juan and his wife both met us and gave us good advice about sightseeing, restaurants and other local information. They were very friendly and helpful and Juan spoke excellent English. The apartment was well equipped and it was good to have a secure parking space in front of to the apartment.
