The place is very beautiful, thank you Osama. The location is excellent, very close to public transportation and just a 2-minute walk from the Nile. In front of the river, there is a nice café where you can enjoy tea by the Nile. I will definitely come back again. The place is very clean, the reception is great, and everything is well-organized and comfortable.

This place is perfect for living how Egyptians live with in a small island full of other Egyptians not in the hustle and bustle of the main island this is peaceful quiet with good restaurants nearby and a nice little shop this is perfect if you want to experience a real deal. I would definitely come back The kitchen was well equipped clean with plenty of cutlery the shower bathroom with clean with good running water and plenty of towels. I've never slept so well on a bed in fact so much so that I plan on buying a similar bed when I go home because I slept like a log. If I could give this place a 12 out of 10 I would.

When in Aswan, I always stay at Roma House!! OK, I’ve only stayed there twice, but I would go back in a heartbeat. “Why?”, you ask. Because the room is comfortable, the shower is hot, the view is to die for, the location is amazing and the price is the best. There is an outdoor kitchen space with 2 electric hot plates as well as a barbecue if you prefer. I’ve used both very effectively. The price also makes this a very attractive place to stay. There are 3 rooms overlooking the roof terrace and there is also a small self-contained apartment with 2 single beds, a few doors up the street. (When I stayed the first time with my wife, we extended our stay by a few more days and moved to this small apartment. ) Mariam is a perfect host. She will arrange tours for you at reasonable rates, or she will leave you to organise your own excursions without any fuss. She provides a good breakfast if you wish. The location on Elephant island is amazing. Can you believe that there is a place in Egypt where there are no cars, no motorbikes, no traffic noise and car horns? This is Elephantine where there are mango orchards and vegetable gardens and basically no machinery. Three minutes on the ferry will get you to and from the island for 10EGP (US$0.20) each way. On this eastern side of the island, there are a couple of good places to eat, have a beer or glass of wine and watch night fall over the Nile.

Host of the apartment was very helpful. He came to receive us to the ferry terminal and they were very welcoming. The apartment is right on the banks of the river. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast sitting at the front fasad over looking the Nile. The apartment is basic and it is very clean. You have all the things to make your stay very comfortable. The owner helped us out with the booking of motor boat and our trip to Luxor and hurgada. He speaks English fluently. I highly recommend this property

    The flat description refers to it as a studio flat, but it's actually a 2 bedroom flat, which is much better. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and very generous.
