Ali is a great guy. His brother too. they have a beautiful stay at luxor close to the vlValley of the Kings, Madinat Habu, and other sites. a lovely breakfast view of the valley. Theur personel is kind and friendly too. breakfast lovely also. everything just great. certainly recommended.

The property is situated in the West Bank of Luxor, away from the hustle of the east bank. Run by brothers, Ahmed and Mahmoud, they are extremely helpful from the beginning. Helped with providing transportation from the airport. And later also assisted with planning and with the logistics of transport to and from the attraction sites. With his recommendation we did one day on the west side where we hired a car and it was fully worth it. For the other day we did the east side and hired a motor board. Both times we got a great deal and were taken good care. Lovely breakfast was served on the rooftop overlooking a gorgeous view of the river Nile. Later we had food from the restaurant which was also run by Ahmed. Food was tasty and inexpensive. Some of the veggies are grown in the restaurant itself. As the villa is a bit far away from the center of West Bank, Ahmed provided means to go around in a car free of charge. Mahmoud helped us with going around the village and was ready to help us at any moment. It’s also important to mention that there was another boy named Ahmed who was always around and helping the brothers. Had a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Would come back for sure if we get another chance.

Staff do everything to make you feel comfortable and happy. My experience with them was amazing. They booked all the trips for us for a fair price, they took us to the ferry (even if it was only a 7 min walk), you can book a private ferry with them to the other side of the river where most of the hotels are, but believe me you are not going to miss too much if you only stay at the hotel, enjoy the Nile view from their pool and have a cold beer that they offer to you All the prices for the tours and meals are fair, and please try fish tagin, it is amazing!!! Sayde is so friendly, I will miss talking about life with him in the edge of the pool.. Hotel is located in a quite area, with 24 hours ferry to the other side, no Hassel, secure and nice real Egyptian people around. Good opportunity to have a stroll around.in the morning and see the people and the kids around. I definitely recommend!!! Felt at home. Hotel is super clean, flat is huge, amazing view from the balcony. Everything you want in a trip to Luxor. Osman, the driver is very very kind!!

In Casa Loko we felt at home. Mohamed and his team, Ibrahim and Mahmud, were very kind, attentive and always available to help with anything. All the team keep the place well maintained every day. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It was amazingly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The pool area and the roof (with very nice view ) are great to relax and enjoy a fresh juice! Also, the pool is maintained and clean every day by Ibrahim, early morning. We had a very good breakfast by the pool (eggs, Iogurts, homemade falafels, bread, etc) The location is amazing, 10min walk to the boat for west Luxor and 10/15min by car from valley of the Kings. Calm area where you can relax from the hassle and noise of west bank of Luxor. You can easily reach all the must see points. Easily, by far, the best place we've stayed in whole Egypt with the best team!

I wish I could communicate better how wonderful our stay in Moonlight Home was. -Location: The area is quiet, it feels like we are in the countryside. We can easily access Hatchepsout temple, Valley of the kings and others by car. The ferry for the East Bank is not far as well. - Facility: The appartement is very spacious and arranged like a home. There is a cosy area next to the swimming pool that became our favorite place after a long day of visits. -Breakfast: It was very copious, so much that we rarely ate during lunch. Big thumbs up for the fluffy eggs and the mash potatoes. -Service: I've never had a service as impeccable as this one. Salah (the manager) drove us to the sites we wanted to visit in the West Bank, he accompanied us to buy tasty pastries, to the pharmacy,... He was very patient and answered all our questions. Mohamed is a very kind soul who prepared us delicious fresh juices and he took very good care of us (we appreciated his mothers's bread) In the few days we stayed in Luxor, we found a family and we hope to come back soon.

The apartment was amazing - plenty of space, a kitchen, a good bathroom, and outside there is even a pool to refresh after a long day of sightseeing. The location was great too - in the vicinity of good restaurants by the Nile, on the best side of the river for most of the archaeological sides and very good connection to the other bank of the river with Luxor temple and Karnak. You would definitely be on the more authentic side of Luxor. The real boon, however, was the host, Mohammed, who really goes out of his way to make the stay special for all his guests. He organised various activities for me, was always fair, and genuinely cared to ensure that his guests saw the best of Luxor!

    The apartment was situated in a very quiet area but restaurants were easy accessible, as well as the Nile and the ferry to cross to the other side. Mohammad was the perfect host, he helped us to make the most of our trip by showing us the area and organizing a driver for us. He was very attentive, letting us check in very early and also check out late. The pool was a very nice addition especially in the hot weather.

    We stayed at the large two bedroom flat, the larger bedroom was quiet and comfortable, all the facilities needed are in the apartment, laundry included. There is a grocery store about a minute walk across the main street, and a local fast food place next to it. Easy to get to Karnak and Luxor Temples.

    An entire apartment on rooftop of a tall building with 2 large beds, big fridge, kitchen, big bathroom, aircondition and a very spacious space where one can sit and admire from above the dawn on the Nile. The owner is a professor in egyptology and if you need, he can also be your guide for visiting various archeological sites. He and his wife and children will receive you gladly in their apartment for a talk and a cup of tea

    We enjoyed our short stay in Luxor very much and with Hamdy’s help, everything was very smooth. He helped us book the balloon tour, go to the Valley of the Kings ahead of crowds, picked us up from the train station and even arranged for a transfer to Marsa Alam. We are greateful for making our stay amazing! Mama Africa is a good accommodation choice for families or groups of friends. Apartment was spacious and comfortable with a nice terrace in front. It’s located to plenty good restaurants and caffès.

    Villa Rebecca has two very clean and modern apartments in beautiful rural surroundings. Both have super king size comfortable beds and lounge area with kitchenette. The rooftop where a nice Egyptian style breakfast is served has fantastic views over surrounding banana plantations and field to the Nile. Ahmed and his brother are very kind and polite and can organise trips or balloon flights. Highly recommended.

    Yussef was nice and helpful, he has a boat too so it’s easy to book a trip to the east bank. Beds were comfortable, apartment is big. Studio downstairs that is in preparation (not ready yet) will be super :)

    Ahmed and Ramadam are excellent hosts. They really care about their guests. Not just before you arrive, but throughout the stay. I was in the flat 6 nights and got regular "everything ok?" messages - which is nice when there is obviously no reception. The apartment is very big indeed, it was very clean and well equipped. I liked having a washing machine, large clothes rack for drying clothes, iron snd cooker. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. Wifi good.
