Location is amazing and the views from the living room are enchanting. Not only is Hastings a lovely place to visit, but this flat is well equipped and spotless. Communication with host was prompt and effective and instructions are clear and detailed about everything you can possibily need. The place is very quiet and the area very safe to walk around. Our bed was extremely comfy and a tv set both in the living room as in the bedroom was appreciated!

    The flat was great but the surrounding outside the apartment block was run down and dirty. Will reccomend the flat as it was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and good location to old and new town. Pleasant stay.

    Really lovely apartment close to station and beach front. A little walk to the old town. Very comfortable stay and provided the basics for self catering (dishes, bowls, towels). Warm and cosy. Nice decor and little surprises here and there (games and toys for children)

    The loft apartment was exceptional. Fantastic views. The layout is great. Facilities are clean and well looked after. Also the breakfast, well the muffins and brownies where an added bonus and it all hit the spot. The views across Hastings and the sea was phenomenal. A must stay.

    The retreat is an exceptionally comfortable, beautifully designed loft apartment. The location is perfect: close to the Old Town and the sea but also the railway station. The service is friendly and unobtrusive, including a superb breakfast and daily room servicing. Clearly, a great deal of care goes into the retreat and there are many imaginative touches

    We loved the loft room- it is like a fully furnished and equipped studio apartment. The breakfast was fantastic. Very clean, private, zero sound or noise from other rooms or the street. The provisions of cereal, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries mean you have to carry hardly anything much. Also the host would leave lovely two treats with the tea mugs each day which we would take with us on our walks. We enjoyed our stay very much
