Very cozy, clean and modern hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Great food and drinks. Skiing directly to hotel. Beautiful nature surroundings. Spa & wellness, very nice pool with warm water and various saunas. I have used fitness room and had all options for my exercising. The hotel is very kids friendly.

Straight upon arrival the reception staff were so welcoming and check in process quick and easy. The best part of the stay was the extra effort they put into ensuring our stay was perfect. I had previously requested a little slice of cake to surprise my partner for his birthday upon arrival and they went above and beyond. Not only 2 slices of cakes, a personalised signed birthday card and a room upgrade. Safe to stay it was one of my most favourite stays. Rooms are impeccablelbly clean, stocked with everything you would need (Cutlery, cups, glasses, cooking utensils etc.) and their breakfast was also outstanding. We also had dinner at their restaurant and it did not disappoint. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything 🙂 It is a very small hotel, quiet. Room was very nicely decorated. In the lobby/breakfast room there is a beautiful magnificent stone table. Very tasty breakfast, local products. The staff was very kind, helpful.

The furniture is wonderful. The entire room has a fascinating style. I think I liked everything: the fridge, the kettle, the linens, the comfy bed, the shower. Oh yeah, the curtains were a treat. I was simply amazed. The host Marcel was super helpful and available. If I ever need a place to stay in Sterzing again, it will be my first choice.

We have never felt more welcome than at Der Bircher. The friendliness and hospitality of the staff made our stay unforgettable.     Exceptional apartment, very roomy and with a large kitchen - perfect for our stay! The bedrooms are huge with big comfy double beds and the living room, with a large flat screen Internet-connected TV was a favourite with everyone. Views were gorgeous out across the valley to the nearby mountains. The host was brilliant, from giving advice to setting us up nicely in the apartment. A really nice touch were free bus tickets and toboggan rental vouchers inside the apartment for us to use.
