Amazingly spacious property. So clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. Washing machine was very useful as well as the fully functional kitchen. Hosts were so lovely and helpful. Would recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Kandy!

Special mention goes to the reservation manager, Mr. Sashika, who went above and beyond by offering complimentary transportation to the train station - a thoughtful gesture we weren’t expecting! Overall Experience: ★★★★★ Kandy River Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The serene riverside setting provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior experience was outstanding. Final Thoughts This hotel offers a surprisingly tranquil experience that you wouldn’t anticipate from the outside. The combination of the beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made for a memorable stay. We lived here for 7 days. It was a pleasure: large apartments, quiet, calm. Very nice host couple: they were welcoming and very helpful with all questions. Special thanks for delicious snacks and equipment of the apartments. Today - this is one of the best places on the island where we stayed. The week flew by very quickly and was a pleasure. What an amazing place! A beautiful apartment with all the modern conveniences - even a washing machine, which was most welcome after a week of travelling! The highlight was the breathtaking view from the balcony. Sami was a kind and generous host - he collected us from the bus station on arrival which was much appreciated. Hope to return!

    Beautiful mountain view from large balcony. Modern apartments with everything you need. Good coffee with dripper, large water dispenser, fridge, shampoo and bday soap, two shower rooms, washing machine and laundry powder, on top of all that the breakfast was so nice and the hosts were very nice and helpful. Thank you Sami and Aline for making our stay in Kandy so special.
