Very spacious apartment with an amazing view. The host family is very kind and accessible, we enjoyed the rich breakfast, which is served in the family living room. Our host personally took us on a minivan tour of the surroundings and showed us a lot of interesting places, including a tea factory, buddhist temples (Nelligala - wonderful place!) and an ayurvedic herbal garden. It was a great opportunity to chat with our host and have him answer all our questions about life in Sri Lanka.

This was truly a hidden gem, we loved everything about our stay at Kandy River Lodge. The apartment was spotless with essentials for cooking if required. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful. The host had water bottles tea and coffee available to us and offered us a complimentary transport from the train station. The host was available to help with any requests and very responsive. If you are staying in Kandy I would definitely recommend staying at Kandy River Lodge. If we get the opportunity to come back to Kandy we would definitely book again

We had heard of the famous Sri Lankan hospitality and now we got to experience it first hand. Saminda was a very helpful host and went out of his way to help us , even to the extent of arranging a Tuk-tuk for us. The location of the apartment is just OMG. The views even in May are to die for, with lush greenery all around. Truly a gem of a property.

The villa is in a beautiful location in the lush green hills of Kandy. A quiet place to relax and a short tuk tuk ride to the centre of Kandy.     Beautiful mountain view from large balcony. Modern apartments with everything you need. Good coffee with dripper, large water dispenser, fridge, shampoo and bday soap, two shower rooms, washing machine and laundry powder, on top of all that the breakfast was so nice and the hosts were very nice and helpful. Thank you Sami and Aline for making our stay in Kandy so special.
