Exceeded my expectations in every way. The hosts, Mariana and Rian are incredibly hospitable and really make you feel at home. They were even nice enough to bring me along on a sandwich harbour trip they had planned with a friend, which was the perfect way for me to explore the dunes and surrounding areas. Rustic Inn has a unique, antique charm that you won’t find elsewhere. The courtyard is spectacular as well as the location. Highly recommend booking if you’re planning a visit to Swakop.

This place far exceeded our expectations. Francois came to meet us on arrival and showed us around. The house is huge, and built to a very high standard. The kitchen and bathrooms are both excellent, and the view from the balcony over the lagoon can't be beaten. We had a wonderful evening walking around the lagoon surrounded by pelicans and the ludicrous number of flamingos as the sun set. Francois gave us helpful advice about where to go for food and cash in the town, and we really loved the feel of the town compared to other places nearby, definitely our favourite spot on the Namibian coast. We could very happily have stayed here for much longer if our time allowed.

    The VIEW!! The location is just 15km from Swakopmund but it is quieter and has an unobstructed view of the ocean. The fact that you can also enjoy the view from inside the apartment without going onto the balcony is also a bonus! The apartment has everything you need including a proper hairdryer which is great. Very spacious and modern. We very much enjoyed our stay here! Also, Salt restaurant downstairs was very convenient. The food was good, there was game meat on the menu and the staff was super friendly.
