By far the most comfortable accommodation we experienced during our trip through Namibia. It’s arranged in such a way that you could practically live there. There was even a fireplace with a built-in grill and firewood ready to use, though unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The property is in a great location on the edge of town, so you don’t have to drive through the center to reach major attractions like Pelican Point or Sandwich Harbour. It’s also close to good restaurants, some are even within easy walking distance. You can also walk to the lagoon.

This place far exceeded our expectations. Francois came to meet us on arrival and showed us around. The house is huge, and built to a very high standard. The kitchen and bathrooms are both excellent, and the view from the balcony over the lagoon can't be beaten. We had a wonderful evening walking around the lagoon surrounded by pelicans and the ludicrous number of flamingos as the sun set. Francois gave us helpful advice about where to go for food and cash in the town, and we really loved the feel of the town compared to other places nearby, definitely our favourite spot on the Namibian coast. We could very happily have stayed here for much longer if our time allowed.

Cosy and secure, stylishly decorated, with everything we needed as a base for a family of three on a busy trip to Walvis Bay. Safe off road parking in a family residential area. Great hosts who went out of their way to help us. Small supermarket a 5 mins walk / 2 mins drive away for essentials. Our favourite local eateries were Godenfang and Probst bakery.

Easy to find google maps navigation worked great. Guy on reception was very helpful and recommended a trip to us that departed from the chalets (dunes tour HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), and we're extremely grateful he did and managed to get us booked on the tour so their local knowledge and recommendations were spot on. We stayed in a chalet with a well appointed kitchen and living area, parking space at the side, TV, and air conditioning. Felt very secure. Nice shower and bathroom, all very clean. The site also has space for people to use tents or motorhomes (power and water etc.). There is a small cafe on site providing meals as well. We'd definitely stay here again if in the area, we stayed for 2 nights. There is a medium sized Dunes Mall not too far away. It is localed not far from Dune 7 (7th largest dune in the world).

    Really lovely apartment. It had good quality fixtures and fittings, was comfortable and very clean. A laundry service was also available, which was really useful. The lady on reception was very helpful and able to make recommendations. The apartment was well-located for several sea-front restaurants and activities, which we were able to walk to.
