It's really beautiful! Charm, character, cleanliness, and the owner is just so incredibly kind and helpful. Just a hop, skip and jump from the main square, the Markt. Gouda is just so pretty. Great place to work from, btw, if you have to work as we did, is the Chocolade Fabriek, just along the canal to the left as you exit the house. And the cafe at the museum is wonderful!! We loved it all. Amazing stay! Thank you!

A wonderful place to stay with two active children – surrounded by convenient bike paths that wind picturesquely through canals and pastures, you can reach the famous Kinderdijk (the oldest windmills in the Netherlands) or charming Gouda. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, with everything you need to cook dinner, and the surrounding garden is a dream: beautifully manicured greenery, a swimming pool overlooking meadows and canals, teeming with wild birds. The hosts are incredibly kind and approachable, happy to advise, but also offer plenty of freedom and privacy.

    Great location, but that also means you should expect a little noise at night from the restaurants nearby. Gouda is a pretty little town. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished in a clean and modern style.

    I booked this hotel about 1 hour before I arrived. The front door was locked and nobody let me in! I tried contacting them and booking.com but was not helped on time. I had to find a different place to stay! Later they said they first wanted more private information from me like why I was travelling to Gouda and why I booked the apartment and what I would be doing. In all my years on booking.com I haven't experienced this.

    The apartment was beautiful, clean and furnished to fit all needs for a short stay. It is as shown in the pictures in the website, no artificial photo makeup. We were four adults and stayed very comfortably. Five or six people could also still be comfortable, since the rooms are large, with natural light, there is plenty of space. There is a convenient parking lot belonging to the property, next to the building, which is in the city centre, a short walk to most points of interest. The owners are very nice and friendly!
