Ocean House met all our needs - it was close to the sea but a step away from the main tourist area and we were able to make our own breakfast and cook when we got fed up of eating out (and we did!). The bed was very comfortable, the shower was superb and the kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a cafetiere to the coffee machine. We were very impressed by the price (although I suspect we had an upgrade) and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We struggled a bit with the automatic check-in (you have to wait for an email at some point in the process and I got impatient!) but somebody quickly came to help. Generally couldn't have found a better place for us and we had the best fish stew at Cafe Yil (by the tram stop). We will definitely stay here again, when we visit the Dutch side of the family.

Everything was great, the room was very big with comfy beds, kitchen with everything we needed, they even left us coffee to make :) Will defiantly visit again! Bus and tram stops are near, the pier is just a few minutes away.

It was quirky and very much in the Dutch style, some ongoing work in the garden area but this didn't affect our stay It was my husband's birthday while there and they decorated the room with balloons for us ❤️ There was also wine & beer in the fridge on arrival which was a very nice touch 👍

I had a wonderful stay at the garden house, perfectly nestled in the city centre yet offering a tranquil escape surrounded by greenery. It truly is the best of both worlds -peaceful and serene but just a short walk to shops restaurants and other amenities. The cabin itself is cozy and comfortable, thoughtfully renovated. Waking up to the sound of birds and having coffee on the patio was a highlight each morning and it felt like a little retreat away from the bustle of city life. I can’t thank Frans enough for his kindness! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well located stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights to visit friends, relatives and the Netherlands and everything we needed in the room was very clean and useful. It was great to be close to the beach. There was a tram stop right in front of the hotel, you could easily go anywhere in the city. There were many super markets and places to eat around. The staff was very kind. Thank you for everything.

    Self catering facilities were excellent. Plenty of crockery/cutlery and cooking utensils. Apartment was very roomy and clean. Sound proofing was excellent. Perfect location for the beach/town. The host met us on arrival. His english was very good and he explained all we needed to know about the property. The host was very friendly. We would stay here again.
