I had an absolutely brilliant vacation in this apartment and on the island of Maio. Originally booked for two nights, I stayed a full week and did not stay any longer because my schedule wouldn't permit it. The apartment itself, while not luxurious, has absolutely everything one needs for a great Beach vacation. It is large, full of light, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything one needs for everyday living. The location cannot be any better, being a 10 minute walk to the nicest wild beach of the island, and 10 minutes in the other direction to the town's center. The large roof allows for unobstructed views of the sea, and I found myself having all my breakfasts and lunches on the roof in front of the ocean. Without any doubt, the highlight of my visit were the hosts, Alessandra and Ilário, who took hospitality to an unprecedented high standard. They are immersed in the local community and go out of their way to introduce their guests to the island and its communities. My visit to the island would have been way less engaging and interesting without their hospitality. Solid 10, and highly recommended.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Biche Rocha Beach is 700 metres away. This property is exceptionally well located and well-equipped for a short or even longer-term stay! The apartment is decorated beautifully and has all the amenities you could possibly need. Isolinda was extremely responsive and check in and check out was extremely smooth.

We owe our experience to Mona and Chris, 5 star hosts! They went to pick us up at the ferry, cooked for us, took us fishing and snorkeling! The house is located on a little farm and has everything you need, kitchen included. The beach is only a 5 min walk: beautiful, empty beach. On the farm there’s a lot of different animals so you can feed and play with them. We want to come back already!
