Owners were helpful and quick in communication. They really provide everything you need. The place is very cosy and comfy. Really good location for the golden circle sights but Skogar and Vík are not too far either. The town also has everything that you may need (grocery store, restaurants etc.). Iceland is wonderful but if Iceland's weather forces you to stay in for a morning or afternoon (and it will), you will be happy you booked this place.

Self contained with just enough kitchen items to prepare basic meals - loved having the bbq. Comfortable beds.

You could see slightly the aurora and if you driver 10-20min and see it stronger. The closest city was 20 min with the basics supermarket restaurant.
