Loved the local vibe & full Italian experience. Check in was easy, very close to the train station. The room (#1) is large with a modern bathroom, exceptionally clean. It is very quiet and there is a nice restaurant (il Pavone pizza), which serves more than pizza, nearby as well. Usually we would search further for dinner but it was pouring with rain when we arrived so we were grateful for the convenience. Also, Reception/ Check is in a different building to which you sleep, which is also a cafe & the breakfast place, (18 il Nuova del Porto). It is very simple to find, even closer to the train. The owner/manager was very friendly and walked us to the actual room with the keys showing us everything. There is a shared kitchen if you wish. Breakfast was at the cafe, traditional croissant, coffee, toast & jam.

The booking was for 3 adults but breakfast for 2 had initally been laid out. This was quickly remedied once it was pointed out to the host. It is very basic and the lack of an electric kettle was very apparent. We don't drink coffee, but i wouldn't want to use the coffee machine if i did. The wi-fi is fine in the reception area are but weak to unobtainable else where. Had some issue with the shower which we finally managed to resolve ourselves after making numerous calls to the host who appeared indicated that they would be at the property in a few minutes, but this may just be a misunderstand as i don't speak Italian. Can't really blame the host for not speaking English.

The photos of this B&B really don’t do justice to the beauty of this accommodation. It is simple but charming and the view and location is exceptional. Breakfast was at a local cafe no more than 100m away and I ate one of the best croissants I’ve had in Italy. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed very comfortable. The host was so caring and helpful and even shuttled us to our bus pick up personally. I hope to return one day and would recommend to all!

Great Villa situated overlooking the coast. The property had a fabulous swimming pool and grassed area with tables and chair to relax in. Although we only stay for one night on our way back to Rome we really enjoyed our time. We loved the Villas pet Pasquale (meerkat) he was super friendly and loved some fruit. The property is a 5 mins drive to town so close for getting meals but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. It also has secured on sight parking which is a bonus with a rental car. We would highly recommend anyone to stay. Karen & Keith Australia.
