Our stay at BB La Veduta was nothing short of magical, thanks to Antonio and his incredible family. This charming, family-run boutique hotel has only three rooms, which makes the experience all the more personal and special. Antonio’s father took care of shopping for breakfast supplies, his mother ensured everything was pristine, and Antonio himself was there for every other need—offering recommendations, sharing stories, and always greeting us with a smile. The cleanliness was truly exceptional. Each day, we returned to a room that felt fresh and spotless, thanks to Antonio’s mother’s meticulous care. She showed the same attention to detail you’d expect in her own home, and the room always smelled wonderfully clean. We woke up and went to sleep every day in a beautifully kept space. The hotel is a traditional Italian gem, and every element felt luxurious—from the soft, high-quality towels and bed linens to the tastefully chosen furniture. The bathroom products and decor were just top-notch, and every detail contributed to a sense of true comfort and quality. Breakfast was beyond our expectations. Each morning, we enjoyed a spread of fresh, locally sourced cheeses (picked up daily by Antonio’s father) and an array of delicious homemade cakes and pastries lovingly baked by his mother. Everything was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. We were also spoiled with unlimited Italian coffee that was simply perfect. Our room, with a balcony overlooking the sea, was an absolute dream. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean each day was so peaceful, and it made our stay feel even more like a true escape. Antonio’s hospitality and generosity were unmatched. He went above and beyond, sharing the best local spots to eat and explore, and all his recommendations were spot-on. We truly felt welcomed as part of the family, not just as guests. We’ll miss our morning chats and the warmth of their hospitality immensely.

We loved our stay here. It was clean, well equipped, close to everything we needed. The perfect accommodation we needed as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby) They couldn’t have been more accommodating.

The room was very comfortable, great location, everything you may need within walking distance, albeit uphill with some stairs, something to be aware of but personally it made for incredible view experiences during sunset. Bars and restaurants are great, beach is wonderful, train station a short walk. The owner was communicative and when I mentioned I was travelling for my birthday, I was welcomed with a glass of prosecco at the Roxy Pub which is a great hang out spot on the beach, especially during sunset. The only detail to note, breakfast is not in the rooms but in a nearby café. Overall, would highly recommend. Perfect spot, not saturated with tourists, incredibly for a good rest and great access to Reggio Calabria or even Sicily via a train ride to the nearby station Villa San Giovanni and a ferry ride from there to Messina. The location was perfect, overlooking the old port on a quiet street with a balcony big enough to sit on. The view of the sea was a real plus. There were various restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to the door in the morning. The owner was helpful and gave advice on parking too.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed us with a dink. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We had a lovely room with a fantastic view of the sea. We wish we had more time to enjoy Scilla. We'll be back again. Thank you!

The host allowed me to keep the luggage after check-out. Also she gave me tips for dining.
