To sum it up we probably had the best time ever at Monsoon Eco Resort. Vishy and Seneth are the loveliest and most caring hosts you can think of. Together with their staff they made this a truly unique and unforgettable experience. You come as a guest and leave as a friend! The place itself is an oasis in the middle of nature with lots of small details everywhere and very close to Pottuvil Surf Point. Another thing to point out is the delicious food which is always prepared fresh and with local ingredients.

Really nice place! One minute from the beach and 15 minutes from whisky point (surf spot). Kind and always available staff. The owner organised for us the Kumana Safari (just two of us on the Jeep), the Lagoon safari and the road trip to Ella, everything without commissions. We also tried the restaurant and was really good, always fresh fish and fresh fruit.

Location of the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. all the shared spaces are well maintained by owners.this is a place for people who love peace.quiet and privacy. Would you like to experience paradise? We did! Eco Aloevera Garden is a place where you may see see the beautiful empty beaches, wonderful sea landscape and such a unique atmospere! Great place to visit out of the tourist season - which we did, March was great choice. The owner and stuff soooo friendly, meeting all the needs. Local meals provided based on our preferences, so delicious! Great clean, cosy little houses in shady garden filled with beautiful palm trees. We just live it all :)

This property was located close to town and all the restaurants as well as the most wonderful little swim beach! Kevin was an incredible host and the rooms were large and clean! As we traveled out of season breakfast wasn’t provided, but we were able to use the kitchen to make ourselves meals. Highly recommend this property!

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Was a bit sceptical about the place because of a very few reviews, but they are newly open and it's a really good place to stay in Arugambay. Booked 1 night, but stayed for 2 more. The place is near main street, but not too close so it's not too noisy. The room I had is basic, but with everything you need for a short or longer stay. They even allow you to use their kitchen to keep and cook food if you like to. Breakfast is common Sri Lankan dishes, but is tasty and plentiful. Guys working here are cool and will help you with anything you need. Enjoyed my stay!
