The owner of the place is very welcoming and friendly. Prepare to get contacted on Whatsapp. The place is located a 10min drive or 40min walk from the Jetty. There are a lot of restaurants and small shops in the area. The room is small but has everything you could need for a night, including your own bathroom and aircon. The owner paid a lot of attention to small and useful details like bathroom shoes. Also, the room is very clean and tidy. In addition, there is a recreation room for all guests that includes hot and cold water, tea, coffee, plates, mugs, cutlery and even a massage chair - everything for free. We stopped here for one night to catch a boat to the island on the next day, and for this purpose the inn is perfect.

We stayed at the Magnolia just for 1 night. At the beginning we were worried about its position, because it is 15 minutes driving from the jetty. Then we met Annie. She is the BEST host ever. She came to pick us up and brought us to have a typical Malaysian dinner while explaining all their tradition. Furthermore she invited us to taste the durians from her garden together with her family. Her mother the day after brought us to the jetty at 7 am and advised places to have breakfast. We consider ourselves very lucky to have met this amazing family! 100% suggested

It was a last minute booking and the owner was very helpful. Perfect location between the bus station and the jetty. The apartment is newly renovated and very nice to stay!

The staff here are really friendly and very helpful. It’s right in the kampung and gives an authentic experience. Easy walk to find food, past gorgeous gardens to get to the beach and jetty, also has a small shop downstairs for water, snacks and a range of vegetables etc. Basic room and bathroom with aircon that works really well which was essential.

Overall is good. Strategic location and near to natural environment. Facilities are basic but very sufficient for us 100m away to beach for sunrise view and 400m away for sunset view

Very nice Spot at the end of the beach. Very friendly Staff. They also offer Snorkeling trips, which you can book at the lower reception. We also used their laundry service, which was cheap at 10 Ringgit per kilo and Super fast. Very interesting accomodation, as you will sleep in a remodeled Sea Can. AIR condition is available, as the Sea can could geht very Hot throughout the Day You will also have a nice balcony with your room.
