Maria was a wonderful host and we felt very much at home. The room was comfortable and the balcony was lovely to sit on, especially in the morning. Breakfast was not served but we could help ourselves to coffee and all sorts of snacks downstairs which was nice. It was actually preferable since it gave us more flexibility.

Situated just 2.1 km from Rinella Bay Beach, Corto Maltese provides accommodation in Cospicua with access to barbecue facilities, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. Amazing stay. Even though the BB it´s not located in la Valletta, it is fast and easy to take the boat to the capital. As we only stayed3/ 4 days and wanted to explore La Valletta and its surrondings (Silema, Cospicua, Vittoriosa and Senglea it was the perfect place to stay because it´s close to the capital and it was much more affordable. Francesco the owner and the staff (Sonia and Agnieszka) were very friendly and attentive. I remember that the day before Sonia texted us to confirm if we had any food alergies. The breakfast was very tasty and diverse. Typical sicilian breakfast. Francesco the perfect host: in the first day he offered himself to take us for a tour and gave us a lot of information about the island, supermarkets, transports, restaurants, etc. In the last day he took us to the airport which was amazing because it also gave us more time to explore the island; In short all the staff was 5 stars to us. and we highly recommend BB Corto Maltese to everyone.

The cozy atmosphere instantly put us at ease, making it feel like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches in the kitchen, like the milk and little bites that were provided. These small but meaningful gestures added an extra layer of care and hospitality, making our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. Even though we are from Malta, staying here gave us a wonderful holiday feeling. The property’s location in the heart of Birgu made it even more special. Being surrounded by the rich history, picturesque streets, and vibrant atmosphere of this stunning town allowed us to see our own country from a fresh perspective. It truly felt like a getaway, offering the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and location. It was an experience we’ll cherish and would highly recommend!

This appartment is spectacular, I could actually live there. The host Andrew was amazing and the best, really happy about choosing this place. He would go out of his way to help us. Awesome.
