Carlo and his wife are friendly and attentive hosts. The rooms matched the photos. The wifi worked well. You can cook or have food delivered to the outdoor dining area. The hotel is about 700 meters from Pipa Beach, which is one of the few beaches on Isla Colon that is good for swimming because it has sand and no waves. My wife needed a taxi to go to Pipa Beach because the roads are under construction and covered with big stones. The hotel is a short taxi ride to Bocas Town for restaurants and boat excursions.

You can completely rely on them for anything, from restaurant advices to trip bookings Breakfasts are great too. The location is also perfect. You can hop on any passing water taxi to go to other islands, Bocas being only two minutes away. Although it’s pretty close, the ambiance in Riva is way different, calm and chilled out, so you basically have the best of both worlds.

Set in Bluff Beach, 6 km from Bocas Town, Oasis Bluff Beach features unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Amazing staff. Choy is the best and was always assisting with any question we had.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. All rooms are private, some have a terrace, TV, air conditioning and hot water. Surroundings are a little loud and the leaking sewer outside was unpleasant, though the room was nice and quiet enough.

We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

Situated within 500 metres of Istmito and 1.8 km of Y Griega Beach, Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. We loved our stay at Saigon Bay B&B, so this review will only highlight some of the features we won’t forget. First, Angie and Nicolas are amazing - kind, welcoming, friendly and generous. It felt like being home, which is the best feeling when you are so far, geographically. Nicolas’ breakfasts are delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. Saigon is a residential neighbourhood, partially on the water, so you get what life in Bocas Del Toro truly is (and you will go to sleep listening to the waves of the sea!). The outside space of the property is dreamy and perfect to chill at the sunset with a cold beer. Last, but not least, the B&B is incredibly clean!

Boasting garden views, Villa del Idaan offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 100 metres from Y Griega Beach. The house's yard has an amazing garden(like a small jungle). We even saw a few monkeys there. The house is located outside of the city's central part, about half our walk. However, the place is good and close to the seaside.
