Everything above perfect, from wonderful facilities with an amazing view of the Grand Mosque, to a beautiful pool garden and a lovely room designed with comfort in mind. With many sports facilities and a nice Kids Club delivering children a joyful experience and relaxing moments to parents. But staff and service are the ones that make the difference. And here, these are exceptional! Staff always going beyond and above to make our stay a wonderful one. Always present in a discrete manner and attentive to the smallest details. So welcoming and delivering a genuine 5* service! Thank you, also for the nice surprise you arranged in our room! We were touched by your care and that was much appreciated!. We will definitely return! The only negative is that too many hotels in UAE are advertised as 5*, being far from the standard and this is just unfair to places like Ritz and to travelers.

The room was big, the wi-fi was strong, stable and everywhere, even on the beach, the breakfasts were exceptionally good and diverse, the beach was clean, spare towels were clean and laying everywhere, the food in the restaurants was tasty, the staff was super friendly, the TV had Netflix and HDMI and worked with my Macbook, there was a bathtub in the room, the city was rather close (though it is almost nothing to do there), so it is a good place to spend a week reading, swimming, lying on the beach, watching movies and doing generally nothing.

Incredible attention to all the details. Our room was more then we expected (even the garden view rooms have amazing views) , the food was exquisite, we appreciated the beach (they were cleaning even the floating buoys in the sea that surounded the beach!), the gym, the pool, the entertainment team, and the nearby nautical club „Wave Club Water Sports" (they made me ride the E-foil in just half an hour!).

Shangri- la Abu Dhabi lives up to its brand and expectations and the level of service by all colleagues was top notch. Special thanks to Nikki at reception for assisting us in every little detail regarding our special occasion, Sonam the porter who aided us in things so we didn’t have to worry such as booking the Louvre in advance and skipping the queues , and the wonderful Tea master Natasha that made us a private tea ceremony and opened up to us ( She is a gem to have at your hotel ) Also thanks to chef Samira for taking extra care of my wife’s dietary restrictions. Highly recommended , with plenty of inhouse activities for guests such as the lovely Abra boat tour, a wonderful harpist playing soothing sounds in the evening , the tea ceremony experience and 3 different pools to choose from
