The property is beautiful! Well kept cozy wooden rooms. The rooms are very big with a beautiful view. It is the perfect picture perfect spot and great for both couples and families. Easy to go up and get a coffee, soda or a beer after a nice swim! Great, clean and beautiful rooms and hotel! The people running the place are kind and extremely helpful - we truly enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to everyone! Truly a 10/10 experience!!

The place is so beautiful, if you love nature this is a perfect spot. Kindly note this is not a luxurious hotel but a cabin whit all basic the amenities. The place was clean and the staff were very helpful. We had a problem with hot water and they came immediately and fixed it.

One of the last buildings on the river, the place is very calm, with a picnic area, volleyball net, fire in the evening, a great place to rest. The staff are very kind and helpful, the room absolutely clean, a very nice local breakfast.

Communication was working well, and we were well looked after from beginning to the end. We had the lakeside upstairs apartment, which was perfect. Sun chairs by the lake were perfect after swimming in the lake (is is refreshing, not cold!) Dinner was served for us in our apartment, and was really tasty, as also breakfast, especially the pancakes and figjam, as almost all incredients were locally produced by the owners or their close family/locals. Since our plans didn't work out to take ferry to Fierze, owners were helpful to find us other options and organising it. Shala river tour was definitely beautiful, but we were happy we were in may, and not in the busiest times when it's mega crowded with tourists. Would highly recommend Borealis Guesthouse, and all the best for you for the season! Thanks 🙏

We planned to stay only for one day and ended up staying three days because we liked it so much. The place is off grid, very quiet and the nature around the hotel is magical. There is the possibility to rent kayaks and take a tour on Komani Lake, which we highly recommend. The employees are all very courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean and adequate for the needs of the guests. The breakfast is well set up with everything you need. The espresso from the Italian coffee machine was fantastic. Dinner was equally fantastic. We did not expect to eat so well. We ate grilled sausages with an excellent bread salad, delicious pasta with tuna, perfectly grilled fish, melon salad with feta or a generous appetizer plate with local cheese, sausage, olives and pickled vegetables. To just mention our favorites.

The (bath)room was clean and the accomodation was just right. The beds were very comfortable and the Air Conditioning works like a charm even though it was 37°C outside. The best thing about our stay was the host, he is incredibly friendly and greeted us with some snacks from his restaurant and raki (he is also not cheap and will always refill your raki if needed, so be aware). The restaurant has a lot of food to chose from and has good prices. To end this review I want to emphasize just how guest friendly the host is, it was very pleasant to spent the evening there.
