This property was very comfortable and filled with extras such as a coffee machine, pods, tea bags, milk and shower products. There was a tv and comfortable lounge area. You could use the washing machine and laundry detergent for free. There was plenty of space and somewhere to park your car. It has been the best place we have stayed traveling by far especially considering the price point. The host was so helpful and kind with recommendations. It was a true holiday destination. Picnic bay is a quiet area however it has a local brewery and Italian restaurant within walking distance. We hired a car across the road to explore the island but it is not necessary as the bus stop is nearby.

This property is in a great location for exploring the island. You can see rock wallabies in the rocks at the end of the beach and koalas on the Forts walk just up the road. The rooms are great, really clean and comfortable. The Bikini bar next door does great food, the smashed avo toast is a breakfast fave.

Nomads Magnetic Island hostel is situated on the beach of Magnetic Island, only 20-minutes by ferry from Townsville. All room types are cleaned daily, with all beds made with fresh clean linen.

LOVED our room and all the facilities. we had a private cabin with sea view and it was incredible! on the beach, bus stop outside. So many residents and nice staff.

The unit was bright and clean in a very central area. The pool was fresh and the area around it clean, was a pleasure to use. Liz was very welcoming and made us feel right at home, hugs all round when we left with promises to return. Huge thanks to Gareth for helping us when we had a flat battery, not only did he get us going but lent us his battery pack for the duration of our stay ‘just in case’, very much appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.
