We stayed at the Breakwater apartments and the property was very clean and spacious for our family and grandparents. Shoal bay in general is a great spot for young families. Not crowded and enough food places to choose from that's walking distance from the Ramada. We didn't need to make any bookings which was a nice surprise.

We were on a road trip to the snow and sadly arrived late both times to appreciate our surroundings. We appreciate the phone calls months ago as we had booked two nights one week apart that would have looked like a booking mistake on our behalf so thank you all for making sure we had booked both dates.

Great location, easy walk to coffee at the Anchorage out the backdoor (fire trail). The backyard pool and hot tub area was well used by the entire family. It's a large house, we had 15 people (8 children and 7 Adults). Plenty of space. The dishwasher was handy and well used. Air-conditioner was fantastic worked a treat and highly customisable. 4 toilets and 3 bathrooms was great for the number of people we had. There is also a hot n cold shower outside near the Hot tub.

Thou Wallah Sunset Retreat offers luxury self-contained villas as well as glamping safari tents all offering views of the headland or water. Guests enjoy an outdoor swimming pool.
