First ever visit to Champex-Lac and this is a top spot -- self-contained self-catering apartment on what is effectively the top floor of a beautiful period building literally across the road from the lake itself, free on-site parking, wifi, balcony with endless views south, south-west, and west looking over the lake at La Breya mountain and forests - a small kitchenette with fridge, stove and all usual amenities - comfy enough double bed (suspended, accessed by ladder - which was fun for us) - and extra sofa/seating area, separate high table/eating spot, and of course the balcony -- I would 100% stay here again (if not buy the place) :P

We absolutely loved our stay. The owners were so helpful and lovely. We ate at the restaurant and added breakfast- I recommend both. Beds are comfy, and the location is incredible. We also popped into the sauna post lake swim, which was fantastic.

The best place that we have. stayed in our TMB hike. The place is beautiful, clean and in perfect location just across the lake. The bus stop and grocery is just across the street. It was beyond our expection. A beautiful surprise. I wished we stayed here longer but I will definitinely be coming back.
