The location right on the beach is fantastic, rooms are clean, and we enjoyed the food and cocktails from the restaurant/bar. You can take surf lessons right in front of the hotel and we were able to book river tubing there as well. It’s got the beach vibe from the surfers, it’s close to the bars, and it’s got pretty rooms. We had the closest room the the sea, with aircon- fantastic. Large and beautiful. Check you have aircon room! Palomino itself is a backpacker thing with more expensive hotels beginning. Just far enough from town to be wonderfully peaceful, right on the beach, not so far to be remote. Lovely grounds full of birds. Our bungalow was spacious and clean with a fridge and comfortable bed. The place is right on the beach with an upstairs area with hammocks to relax in and listen to the ocean. The dorm rooms are clean, nice and spacious with individual fans and a private bathroom.
