I have never been to a hotel before where the owner does a quick haircut and mends your bag on your first day. Thank you for looking after my husband when he felt frail. I love the room, the chairs. The forest location. That there was no artificial lighting in front of our room late at night ...the dark was a joy and seeing the sunrise through the trees The home cooking, the coffee the little seawater pool, the wild beach. The caring environment, lovely staff. The howler,the macaws , the things that went bump on our roof! Its a little different. The Golfe Dulce is away from the tourist trail and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen

Incredible welcome by Tanya and Richard. They gave us full of idea and excellent advices about the area. We loved eating every evening together with them and the cook. Taking Time to chat or play games. It feels like a family. The location is perfect right by the sea with a surfbreak that you only share with one or two persons. Turtle nesting right on the beach. We loved it ! They made our stay so special that we stayed one extra night. Thank you

The condo was very well equipped, very clean, and the beds were super comfy. The rooms have blackout curtains, which makes it easier with the jet lag! The surfspot is just in front, and the yard is very well maintained. It's nice to have a pool ,especially with kids ! I can only recommend highly, and we're definitely coming back !!!

Absolutely loved it here! As soon as I arrived I was greeted with big smiles and kindness from the staff. They are relaxed, helpful, fun and just really good people. Room was great! Bed comfy. I loved how the hotel had different zones so you can either be social or find a quiet area to chill. Shared kitchen was super clean, spacious and very well organized. Lots of surfboards for rent. Beach about 50m away, a few cafes / restaurants close, as well as the mini market store. 100% will be back! Hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for a great time Hotel Swell.... We arrived early and because there was a room available we were able to check in early. John was very helpful, giving us a map and telling us all the great things to do in the area. We took the kayaks (which were free) around the bay, where we saw a dolphin. We also saw lots of scarlet macaws and hummingbirds in the nearby trees and watched a turtle bob up occasionally from the deck. The place also has bikes to use. It's really close to the town so everything is walkable. There's free coffee in the room. All the staff were lovely.

We loved our stay here so much that we booked an extra four nights! Apartment was very clean, safe, and had everything you need for your stay in Pavones. Great kitchen to make your own meals or drinks and relax at the kitchen bar. The host Louis and his family were very kind and accommodating of anything we needed during our stay. Location was convenient. Right next door to a large market, with restaurants and surf all a short walk away. We loved hanging out at the kitchen bar and watching the toucans fly around. Highly recommend Abigail for your stay in Pavones.
