We loved it here! The B&B really has a boutique style, and you see that every detail is thought through by the owners. We stayed in the seaview room which is lovely and spacious. It had a large comfy bed with a lot of pillows. The room even has a smart TV with a Netflix account so after a day of whale watching, you can relax and watch a movie on the mountain of pillows on the bed. The breakfast is great too! A more culinary version of the local breakfast with fresh fruits as well. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at Viejamar! Rodrigo’s and Soraya were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, they made my stay comfortable and easy! Lovely place right on beach! Not too noisy at night (at times, mainly from neighbouring facilities). I would definitely come back here!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. From the very first moment, it felt less like staying at an accommodation and more like visiting friends. We asked if it was possible to be in a room with good internet, since we both work online. The next day they upgraded us to a better room with the best internet we had in the whole Ecuador. We could book tours at the accommodation and the staff was lovely and was always there for everything we need! They offered a really nice complete breakfast to start the day full of energy 💛 we will come back for sure in the future!
