Amazing staff, management, reception, chefs and waiters also the guys that drive the buggys, all friendly and good people. Very helpful. Great location best place in makadi bay, spa massages was the best. We will come again. If you stay in hurgada you must stay here. 10/10

I had a wonderful experience during my stay, and I’d like to highlight the exceptional staff behavior. Everyone was cooperative, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank you to Eliwa, who hosted us with utmost professionalism. He made us feel like we were receiving special treatment, even though he extends the same care to every guest. I’d also like to thank Hashem, the bartender at the relaxation pool, and Mohamed, the pasta chef, for their exceptional service. Mohamed’s work was filled with passion, love, and joy, which made our dining experience truly delightful. Unlike reviews I’ve read about other hotels and resorts in the region, we experienced no form of discrimination, especially against Egyptians. The treatment was equally excellent for all guests, regardless of nationality, which was very refreshing. The drinks were moderate in quality, but the outstanding staff attitude more than compensated for this. The rooms were impeccably clean. However, the side sea view wasn’t ideal for us, and we would prefer a pool view for our next visit. The variety of food was outstanding. I’ve never encountered such an extensive selection as I did at Steigenberger Soma Bay. The taste was diverse, blending local cuisines with international favorites, which truly enhanced the dining experience.

Perfect hotel, heated pool (very important once travelling with kids). Arrived around 6 am - they kindly provided us a room for additional charge (really thankful for this as we have sleepless whole night flight). Personnel is very friendly, food variety is rich, Italian restaurant is rally very tasty, animators are creative, they have a nice cultural program and all in all very positive atmosphere. Love it! I would probably add slippers and bathrobe to the room, but other than that - very nice stay!

The location is right in the city center. It is convenient to go everywhere. The roof terrace has a nice ambiance with amazing view. The staff here are very friendly, Taha gives really quick responses via WhatsApp whenever we asked him questions. The service quality is way beyond my expectations. I do highly recommend this place.

We had an incredible week at this hotel in Hurghada! From the moment we arrived, Ahmed at reception made us feel so welcome—he was unbelievably kind and helpful throughout our stay. The Amaraya restaurant team deserves a huge shout-out! The food was absolutely unreal, with something for every taste, and the cleanliness was on another level. Every meal was a pleasure, thanks to their hard work and attention to detail. One of the biggest highlights was how spotless the entire hotel was. I have never seen such a clean hotel before—huge respect to the cleaning teams for keeping everything in perfect condition! There’s always something to do here, with tons of activities to keep you entertained. But if you’re looking for relaxation, there are plenty of pools and snack bars where you can unwind in peace. A big thank you to the hotel manager for an amazing experience. We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
