Breakfast was great, a plate with ham, cheese, bread, boiled egg, veggies, fruit, something sweet to finish it off. In addition, coffee, tea, yoghurt, porridge was offered with a friendly smile. The area and the boutique hotel was a 1850's iron works transferred to a beautiful combination where accommodations were modern but surrounding's from 1850's.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of town. The cottage is cozy and has a great terrace. Plenty of space for several cars. The alpacas are right across the road and a great pizzeria just a few minutes walk away.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Teijo, Kirjakkalan Ruukkikylä is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

We have been visiting this location for years. Since 2024 the property is under new management. The new management changed everything for the best. We do appreciate all the investment made in maintenance of the property in general and each villa in particular, new furniture, new bed linen and so on. Great job guys, turning failing and mismanaged hotel into well-maintained one and giving it a fresh start!
