Food was amazing, diving instructors very competent, manta ray swim was incredible! dorm was always very clean and acrivities so much fun the only thing is, for backpackers info: you HaVE to pay for the mandatory meal plan per night you have booked, there’s no way getting around that… even if you don’t want to eat or don’t plan on being on the island that day but i absolutely enjoyed my stay would definately recommend!

The room was very well kept, the most comfortable place we stayed during our Yasawa island trip! Lots of activities to choose from and the food provided was delicious. Every interaction at this property was based in the legendary Island hospitality. I have dietary restrictions. They prepared an individually talored meal for me even on buffet nights. I was recovering from a recent ankle surgery. Four members of their dive team assembled to provide me a fin and life vest combination. The snorkelling was the most successful of my life. The water crystaline, the reefs healthy with gentle leadership from the dive team. These are not luxury accommodations but they are clean and well maintained with reefs accessible from 2 of the 3 beaches. If your goal is to experience the ecosystem this is your place.

We had a great stay with Silo, Bill and their family. The food was amazing and you definitely won’t starve :D There are a lot of of things to do around the village, we did the Mantaray snorkeling unfortunately we didn’t see any but Bill took us snorkeling to some really beautiful spots instead. Also the beach in front of the village is great for snorkeling and you have it all to yourself. They also took us to a birthday in the village which was really nice and we got to experience the Fijian lifestyle. We felt really welcomed in the village everyone was really nice and smiling at us <3

For those looking for an outstanding location and excellent accomodation, I highly recommend Waya Island Resort. Awesome environment and atmosphere. The standout features and superb service from staff who go above and beyond. The meals are excellent. There is great snorkelling and stand-up paddlebording included. Highly recommend the village visit and picnic. Ultimately, for those looking for a place to just relax and wind down (without kids); this is a place to put on top of the list of locations in the Yasawa Islands.
