Beach Hotels in Almirida

Exceptional boutique hotel. This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. After some bereavements in the family, my husband and I were exhausted after a hard year when we arrived, and destressed and refreshed when we left, thank you! Our week in this hotel was precisely what we needed! The staff organised the taxi transfers from the airport, and since it was our 8 year anniversary and they gave us a free bottle of Champagne and chocolate truffles. We didn't expect that, it was a wonderful surprise. We loved our first stay im 2019 so were happy to see that the hotel reopened after Covid19. It's adult only and so, so quiet, and luxurious. Everything about the hotel is comfortable, with excellent food and drink. The breakfast buffet is varied, healthy and so fresh. They had lovely cocktails and Greek beers. On Sunday they had a jazz and blues band with an amazing singer, Mania. Some hotel bands can be a bit naff but this group was actually really good, I would easily pay for a ticket to some blues bar gig to see them. They deserve far better than playing for a hotel audience! For the rest there was no tacky music, which we really appreciated. It is an immensely quiet and relaxing place. The hotel is in Almyrida and close to really good restaurants, and nearby Plaka (1.5km walk). I can recommend Dmitris, Thalami and Lagos Taverna. If you eat in Plaka, go to Taverna Elpis. These were recommended to us by our Greek friends. The hotel is right opposite a quiet and lovely bay with sand and a couple of small boats. In terms of facilities, they have super clean sauna, massage room and changing facilities if you check out before you need to leave for the airport. I also snuck into the library and borrowed two books during my stay. The pool area is super quiet, very relaxing for a couple wanting to de-stress! There is no fighting over pool seats, no issue with putting towels down to reserve a sunbed - it was a civilised and polite experience.

Perfect for family with double bed downstairs and double and single bed upstairs. Two shower rooms also a major addition .Right above Main Street and across the road from the beach. The restaurant run by the hosts also one of the best in town.

The location is perfect, the view is amazing. The room is spacious and very clean. The staff was very service oriented, and breakfast was delicious. The massage we booked was absolutely perfect, I would highly recommend it. And no need to bring your beach towel, you will get them from the hotel.

the house is owned by the lovely Maria who welcomed us with freshly made lemonade. Maria is a very kind woman who speaks perfect English and was able to accommodate all our questions. she did not pressure us at all in leaving the room and we enjoyed every minute of the stay after checkout on the garden which is literally on the beach!! beds were very comfortable and the view amazing! air conditioning perfectly working

Spacious, bright, clean appartment. Friendly staff. Lovely pool area. Great location, tucked away and quiet but only a few minutes walk from the centre of the village.

A stunning hotel in its beauty! Every detail in the new hotel is designed in natural colors, creating an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. The amazing architecture of the hotel connects perfectly with nature, and everything was simply beautiful and perfect! My room had a private pool, and it was simply magical. Natural light flooded the bathroom, making the experience even more special. We received delicious pastries and chocolates in our room, which added an extra touch to our experience. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. The pools in the hotel are amazing, inviting me to relax and enjoy. The pool bar and the main pool were simply breathtaking in their beauty. The reception staff was amazing and welcoming, contributing to my excellent feeling during the stay. This is the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in, and the views are breathtaking! Additionally, it is very close to Chania Airport, making it especially convenient. If you are looking for a pampering and beautiful place, this is the perfect spot! I highly recommend it!

Our host, Kostas, was very friendly and was always available for suggestions and any help we needed. Our studio had a fantastic view of the beach and the pool, very clean and renovated. Facilities were carefully maintained and cleaned, the shared kitchen was brand new. There is a large and quiet terrace to relax and lay down, with tables to have your food and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The pool with sunbeds and the bar next to it was great, we had a nice time there. There's a beach very close that can be accessed directly from the pool. Also, the resort has a large private parking area, we always had a place.
