Exceptional hotel for families. Two pools, one especially designed for kids. Both of them very clean and safe. The room was spacious and the view was outstanding. The beach was just across the hotel and it was also ideal for children - keep in mind its one of the best in the island. The breakfast was also great in variety and quality! Everything was exceptional! We went during off season and there was barely anyone at the hotel so they upgraded our room with a sea view. The breakfast was really good, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Also, they provided a shuttle from the port to the hotel which was very helpful.

I loved everything in the hotel. the staff is amazing, very attentive. the best experience in Greece so far. it's right on the beach. The beach was amazing, clean, sandy, water was the cleanest. the hotel has a restaurant down, where the food is delicious and affordable. the lady from reception was very very nice, she made sure we were comfortable in every situation. The best part was that, after checkout, we needed to leave by ferry but the ferry was at night. we decided to stay on the beach, and the lady gave us a whole new spare room, to wash up and get ready for our departure (we didn't expect that coming), without any price added. we were very happy and delighted with that gesture. thank you <3 The place is full of locals, not a lot of tourists, and not too crowdy and noisy. The place is just perfect for a small peaceful vacation. Loved it. the accommodation is according to price, but we had quite a big room for 4 people. if you are looking for peace just go there, it's affordable and comfortable.

This is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in in a long life of travelling. My room was well designed, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with careful attention to detail. Every member of staff was friendly and professional. I especially appreciated the home made lemonade I received on arrival. I have been visiting Syros for 40 years and if you are looking for a beach holiday, Finikas is the place to stay ! Lots of excellent places to eat and very good public transport connections. The hotel had thought to include a bus timetable in my room and an electric kettle so I could make a much needed cup of tea. What a pleasure to stay in a hotel that really thinks about the comfort of its guests.

Family of 4 - couple with one child and one dog(medium/large). The location was wonderful! We had a great time and we would definitely stay longer if we could! It was quiet (as we liked and planned) and we had the whole beach to ourselves, except for the one excellent neighbour to the house next to us (whenever he was there). Absolutely ideal for stargazing or sitting by the sea at night (but not for the faint of heart, there is no one else there or around - and we liked it that way but not everyone does). It takes 5-10 minutes to walk down the hill to the house but even this walk, with its breathtaking view, makes it well worth it! It is though a solid walk, to and from the house, up and down, with stone/ground steps and everything, so maybe not for people who cannot handle such terrains, physically or mentally. The house (an old - but well taken care of and properly renovated - fisherman's house) was exactly what we saw online and expected. Equipped with everything we might need (kitchenware, cleaning supplies, coffee machine/capsules etc. even head flashlights for our walking up and down the hill) and our hosts provided us with bottled water beforehand (already at the house) and whenever we needed afterwards (the water in Syros is not drinkable but ok for cooking). Thank you to our hosts and will definitely be coming back!

The place is fantastic. Attention to detail was great. We only meet the Mother, of the owner. Sweet lady, very helpful and kind. The location was perfect for us, on the sea edge, peaceful and quiet. Most important there is an extended family to the place, a geese and quite a few duck, very friendly and they greet you, everytime, you go down to the sea side. Need swimming shoes to get, in the water, a lot of rocks. Thank you very much.

One of the most breathtaking apartments I’ve ever stayed in! The view is simply incredible, and you can wander down the private stairs to the ocean for a morning swim and an iced coffee from the bar. Loved the free ice cream for kids, the beach right next to the pool was unbelievable, perfect location. Sunsets magical, breakfast great. Reception staff were excellent, so happy and friendly. Lots of entertainment for kids.
