The staff is sooo great. My god, it's such a great team! They work extremely hard to give you the best experience you can have. And they have fun doing so, it's beautiful to see. Everything is great really, but the staff is most exceptional.

This is the place to stay. Stop looking elsewhere. Casa Narrow Villa has everything you will need. Incredibly comfortable rooms, with excellent mattresses and powerful, hot showers. The restaurant is unbelievable. A wide range of Western and Indonesian dishes cooked to the highest standard, and be sure to enjoy "Satay Sunday" or even have a delicious crab if they are in stock. But, the rooms and food are not even the best reason to stay here. It is the hosts. Christina and Derek treat you like family. You feel like you are not staying in a hotel, but an extension of their home. They have fascinating tales to tell, and are always trying to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We definitely want to return.

We had an amazing stay at Bo’a Vida, the rooms are so comfortable. Carla and staff made sure we were always looked after and had everything we needed. The views from the room and breakfast were highlights. All the food was so fresh and delicious!

We originally booked 4 nights at Mulia but ended up staying for 17 because we enjoyed it so much. It is a bit outside the center of Nemberala, but easy to reach by scooter. The area is quiet, right in front of the beach, and with stunning sunset views. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious with outdoor bathrooms. The staff freshens them up every few days or on request, which worked perfectly for us. WiFi has also improved a lot. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with scooter rentals, transport, island trips, or organizing shared dinners at the homestay. If we come back to Rote, we‘ll definitely return to Mulia ☺️

The host axel was a great source of knowledge and massive help to us with any questions we had, the entire staff went over and above to make sure we were happy with everything! Massive compliment to the chef and the best chicken and avocado wraps! Cute dog Milo was always up for hanging out and chilling!
