Jean François' original and beautifully finished decor, friendly, relaxed & easy going owner & his team, located just beside some beautiful reef and with the possibility to jump on a boat and hit the gili islands for snorkeling and diving. Menu & food was tasty and unpretentious and various little spots to sit and check out the view across the bay.... We were quite simply super happy to have found this place as our first stop on lombok and felt convinced it was totally the right choice among what else is available in the area.

A truly fantastic place to relax, eat really well (don't miss the Eggs Benedict!), snorkel or hike around the island. Beautiful views and great design. We actually only wanted to stay 3 nights but were able to extend our stay - you won't want to leave here! There is a diving school at the Pearl Beach Resort, you are picked up directly from the beach at Amahelia, highly recommended! The staff at Amahelia are great, super friendly and incredibly helpful. Even with a medical problem, the manager was extremely helpful and competent - for hours and in the middle of the night! Thank you again for that! In my opinion, the best choice on Gili Asahan. Feels perfect at your place, we'll be back!

Great little resort right on the water. The 2 bedroom apartment was awesome for us. Lovely to have own sitting area. Good air con but had fans and big doors to open to let the breeze in and enjoy the view. Food was fantastic. Possible best cheese burger and bolognaise ever! The owners Nigel and Lisa and all the staff were so lovely and friendly. They organised a great snorkelling trip- turtles and a sea horse spotted

This place is so lovely and so secluded. It took a long journey to reach here but it was worth it. Astam their staff are so friendly and helpful. We requested them to bring us around with motorbike with a fee and they were great! My kids love the ride. Beach is nice but reef is dead and do get quite a lot of rubbish. Regardless it was nice and loved the free kayaking and calm sea.

unique place at the small island. self-sufficient place with great cuisine. lots of activities - you can walk with horses, swim or kayak, they offer snorkeling on a private boat. totally worth to stay!
