Gubug is the bomb! It's my 4th stay there. Staff are awesome, location is excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. Food is great. 1min walk and you're in the surf or if its mid day and the sand is hot it's a 30sec sprint.

Staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were always at out bec and call, and always had a smile on their face. Pool was always cleaned and is just as seen in the images. Each room was incredibly spacey and had all the ameneties you need. This place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Worth every penny.

All the extra little touches just kept us smiling… Super happy=Senang indeed Its location is both intimate with nature nestled in stunning rice fields, and held by the background of the vast ocean, its horizon lit by fishing boats and stars at night. The pool is perfectly positioned and inviting for relaxation and refreshment. The rooms are Super spacious and private, super light and airy. We didn’t need air conditioning though it was available. Surrounded by rice paddies, looking through a coconut grove at the crushing waves at the beach while sitting on the veranda of our cosy A-frame cabin we felt like minor gods on the island of gods. The endless beach empty, our stomachs full with the simple but delicious dinner, listening to the birds, the frogs and the cicadas we feared the day we had to leave. Every single person on the staff was friendly, helpful and competent. Much of this - including many design choices - Desa Cabins owes to Diana, the woman who runs the place. Thank you Diana, Nanda, Bungi, ... and all the others who's names I shouldn't have forgotten.
