Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace. The location was right on the beach, the room spacious and very clean and comfortable. The owners were helpful and nice. I really enjoyed the simplicity of this location. At that moment it was just what I needed.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing garden and swimming poll area on the lake shores! Staff is so helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot with some ginger mixture when we had stomach issue. Gorgeous, indian decor, clean and spacious room (better book the one with lake view), good breakfast. Quite pricy but you have to pay for good standard in India. Nothing within walking distance (not an issue, just FYI), perfect for relax and doing nothing. :)

Beautifully designed with many details, big garden with many trees and plants that cool down the area, everything very new, no lunch or dinner but very delicious breakfast with a big fruit plate and you always get a nice tea or coffee, they always arrange rikshas to the city and help you to book yoga classes or backwater tours, very attentive owner and friendly staff, very cuddly dog, stay longer if you can.

Marari Beach Resort offers a sea-side village experience. Located 9.7 km from Alleppey and 14.5 km from Kumarakom, it has an outdoor pool while beachside dining is available.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The location is absolutely idyllic—right by a beautiful, quiet beach where you can truly relax. The family hosting us was incredibly kind and accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable and meeting our needs with great flexibility. A particularly touching gesture was when my mother felt unwell and had to stay behind while we went on a boat trip. The family took great care of her, which we deeply appreciated. The Backwaters are just a 15-minute drive away, making it a perfect spot for those who want both beachside tranquility and easy access to Kerala’s stunning waterways.
