We loved our stay of a few nights here. It’s a traditional family run hotel in a lovely old mansion, with really kind and friendly staff. We loved the calm atmosphere and having the beautiful garden to have breakfast, drinks and dinner in. The rooms are simple, comfortable and spotless - as is the hotel and grounds. Dinner was delicious traditional Italian food- the best we had during our stay infact - and wines were lovely too. Complimentary bikes were a nice touch for a spin to Forte Dei Marmi market. A great break all round.

Among all the good things I have to say about this property, the first one that comes to mind is the location. It is near the beach and all the nice restaurants. We booked a room at the first floor (with a queen size bed and an additional one for our son). The balcony was huge: extending to the edge of the building. The breakfast was good but it could use more variety. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was quite good. The roof top has comfy armchairs and sofas from where you can have a great view of the seaside or the mountains.

Wonderfully located on the Tuscan Lido di Camaiore beach, Grandhotel & Riviera offers great facilities and modern accommodation just 1 kilometre from Viareggio and half an hour from Pisa.

This hotel is great. We traveled with a dog, it was no problem for them and they didn't charge extra for the animal. Daily cleaning was a godsend (especially if there is a beach nearby and you are traveling with a dog :) ). Great location, close to the promenade, pier, beach. Very nice and helpful service. Breakfasts were ok, the same every day, but you can use different types of breakfasts - sweet or salty. Parking under the hotel is additionally paid, but then you can safely leave your car and not worry about it. Swimming pool available even in October, so you can still use this facility. I highly recommend.

I really loved the location of the hotel — it was absolutely perfect. The beach was right in front of my balcony, offering a breathtaking view and easy access to the sea. It was such a pleasure to wake up each morning and enjoy the sound of the waves just steps away. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They made my stay feel even more comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotless, very clean, and surprisingly quiet, which allowed me to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars nearby, so there were always great options for dining or just enjoying a coffee by the sea. I also appreciated that the beach offered both a private area with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as a public zone, depending on your preference. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely come back again. For me, this hotel deserves a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, beachside getaway with great service and everything you need close by.
