The location was great. If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at Bay Dreams Beach Hotel. From the minute we walked in, we were welcome with smiles and incredible service. The staff are friendly and super helpful. We were served with delicious breakfast every morning, which we looked forward to. Rooms are clean, and the aircon works well. We recommend this place to any and all travelers looking for a home away from home in Arugam Bay. We will be back :)

Really nice place to stay in Arugam Bay. The hotel has a nice ambient, beautiful garden. The owner and the staff are lovely and very helpful. We had good chats and they help us in any way we needed. The room was clean and nice, just like the bathroom. It has a very good value for the price. AC works fine and there is a ceiling fan as well. The beach is just the end of the street, 50 meters. There are many good places to eat nearby.

Beautiful sea views in a peaceful setting. The place feels private and is run by a lovely family who are so welcoming, kind, and accommodating - they really made us feel at home. The location is ideal if you want to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Arugam Bay, while still being just an easy walk into the main area. Would highly recommend!

Our stay at Beach Wave Hotel has been the best experience we've had on our holiday. The room is very comfortable, and has a lovely balcony with hammoch (beach view) which is perfect to relax in after a long day out. The location was excellent, it is a 05 second walk to the beach and is ideally located to all necessary amenities, e.g. restaurants , bars, supermarkets, ATMs, etc. Our experience would not have been possible without Beach Waves extremely kind and tireless host, Naleem, who is attentive to his guests' every needs. Silmir organised our travel to Arugam Bay, and to the airport, he also arranged for our surf lessons, and the excursions we were interested in. SIlmir does not overcharge or take a commission on any of these services, he simply provides you the best price and best person for the job. We surfed with the best surf school in Arugam Bay, and he was even kind enough to assist with getting a special massage for my partner's sprained ankle. Highly recommend this place and Value for the stay! Beach Wave Hotel is really the only option to choose when deciding where to stay in Arugam Bay!

We got welcomed with smiles by the friendly staff as soon as we got there. The owner was very helpful in giving us recommendations for surfboards rentals, prices, buses etc. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Curtains at the dorm beds for privacy + individual towels, lights and plugs. AC is on in the rooms. Nice little chilling area above the reception and kitchen. Nice and clean kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook your own food. Available coffee tea and filtered water for free and at any time. Very good location in Arugam Bay. I recommend!

The location to main break and town is awesome, you can walk around to main point surf break (5mins) and also an easy 5 min walk along the beach the other way and can cut onto main road of Arugum really easily. Very accessible to what Arugum has to offer. Nisha and Kani (siblings) who run the property are absolute gems and are what made me enjoy Aragum, more than the crowded surfing! They’re are warm, friendly, love to chat and include you in family meals for everyone who works on site (we also made eggplant curry together and did a seafood bbq) and really gave a true sense of Sri Lankan culture to my trip. Thank you Nisha and Kani. They have tuk tuk’s on site to run you around for a nominal fee compared to tuk tuk’s in town, they’ll run you to surf spots early, into town to change out boards, nothing is a worry for them and they are super accomodating. Aircon works great, super good fans in room, if on high it would blow you off the bed - which was needed as when I was there the bay was super hot in the season beginning. The rooms are neat and clean and good value for money, especially given the location. Mosiquito nets around bed for peace of mind also! Drinking water provided near kitchen :):) Will stay again when I return! Thanks Nisha and Kani
