A fantastic boutique hotel located right on the beach. Beautiful rooms with all amenities. A fantastic and friendly staff led by Sanuka and Francesca. We received an upgraded room upon arrival and were allowed to keep it until 11 PM on the departure day. A nice restaurant in the hotel with a lovely breakfast and otherwise open until 11 PM for both lunch and dinner. Nice outdoor area with comfortable sunbeds and a great swimming pool.

Everything! When you walk through that front door you are walking into a zen haven- absolutely divine. Every member of staff were extremely helpful for anything you need. They are there but not intrusive. The meals we ate onsite were delicious with enough choices for us. The pool is perfect, the rooms are large, the decor is gorgeous, and the price was perfect. We had friends staying in a large hotel further north, with buffet, multiple pools, and crowds - Villa saffron is a place to relax. We will definitely return.

Best place in my entire trip in srilanka. Everywhere so clean and neat. Very friendly staff and can get lot of advices around the area and sightseeings too. Tour arrangements with drop off and pickup also arranged by property. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Feel like home away home by the beginning. Stayed in a family suit. Spacious, clean room with a terrific sea view. Delicious breakfast and food in a beach restaurant. Located in the nice part of Hikkaduwa, a lot of cafes and shops right outside of the property. Nice owner who helps guests and overseas property personally.
