The room was excellent. A beautifully designed space, with comfortable king bed and sea view. The staff were all friendly, conscientious, and went above and beyond to accommodate us, and our young 10 month old son. Both the restaurants had wonderful food that represented very good value for money.

The room is very spacious with a huge bathroom and the hotel is located right at the beach! Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable. But the best aspect of this accomodation is the owner and the hosting team who truly went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Every single employee was always extremely friendly and considerate, they truly left a mark on us for their hospitality. We took a surfing class which was super fun and the restaurant next to the hotel serves the best coconut roti in the world.

Villa Saffron is a peaceful oasis in the midst of a bustling beach town. The accommodations were beautiful, spotless and comfortable. THE best place in Sri Lanka! Rooms are impeccable (big, extra clean, smells great) Spot is right on the beach, close to all the best restaurants. Restaurant is one of the best on the beach. Neela’s is nicely managed, staff is welcoming and competent. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Roman Beach Hotel. The service was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was another highlight — delicious, with large portions that really exceeded expectations. The hotel wasn’t crowded, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It does show a bit of age, but nothing that affects comfort. We also had a jacuzzi in the room, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly — we were able to stream Netflix and YouTube without any lag. There was no TV in the room, possibly removed for repairs. Also, since we were on the top floor, the water pressure was a bit low. The location is right on the beachfront, but the beach itself is almost non-existent as the sea comes very close to the property. However, Narigama Beach is just a short 30-meter walk away and is much better for a beach experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend!
