We loved our stay here and the family was super kind! They offered us different fruits from their garden and breakfast was so extensive and delicious (the best we’ve had during our 3,5 week stay here in Sri Lanka). The room is very new, clean and spacious. A little bit of steep driveway for our tuktuk, but the owner helped us. The direct neighbours were also all very kind.

Unbelievable place. It is located in a big house with a nice pool area in a quiet area. We have been welcomed very nicely by our host, with a small tour of the villa and the facilities of the hotel. There is a fridge and a place where you can cook in case you don’t want to go outside. Breakfast is incredible, you can choose between continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and it is anyway very good. Guests are caring and lovely, thank you for the stay, I wish we could have stayed longer but we needed to continue our trip to Sri Lanka. Thank you for the stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Darashana Beach Hotel - highly recommend to anyone staying in Kosgoda ! Absolutely stunning view of the beach from both our room and the breakfast terrace. The room is clean, equipped with AC, mosquito nets. Extensive breakfast with fresh fruit salad and the most delicious juices ! There is also a pool area, although we spent most of our time at the beach (1 minute away). The staff was truly so helpful and kind. Suitable for couples, families and groups of friends alike, wifi strong enough to work remotely for those who can never quite put down their laptops ;)

The hosts are the best, super kind, friendly and helpful, can help with tours and transport. They made us the best breakfast. The rooms very big and are completely new well-equipped (rain shower, hot tab, hot water, mirror, kettle,...), great bathroom, nice terrace , the bed was huge and really comfy and everything was super clean. The entire facility is very modern and well maintained. Wonderful quiet village, cargils supermarket and fruet store is very close, less than 5 minutes walk. The place is very calm and close to Bentota city center, about 10 minutes ride. Close to lunch-dinner places. Would 100% recommend it. Thank you so much for everything!

Beautiful complex, super clean and very well equipped. Super clean and huge Pool and just 4 or 5 minutes walk to the Beach The family (Sakun and his wife Nimmi) are so warm and accommodating! We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay with them very much! The massages were wonderful and requests regarding the food (spicy or mild etc.) are met with great care! We didn't want to leave and would come back anytime!

Everything - it’s quiet and near a supermarket and it’s close to the bus stop - the hosts are delightful and offered me a mango juice and mangoes from their tree and some Jack fruit and also a lift to the turtle sanctuary

Piyal welcomed us very warmly. Also his little son and daughter we met are super sweet and friendly. We got a welcome drink and piyal told us a lot about the plants and fruits in his garden.This was very informative. Packed our lunch in boxes to bring it to the beach. Also he gave as a lot of good advice what to do and where to go in Sri Lanka and helped with the bus. So you see, very helpful at any time with any topic!
