Great property with beach front access and great facilities such as the pool. Friendly and professional staff who was always available for our needs and unbiased recommendation's of local activities and restaurants. Abheetha the manager and the team went beyond to make sure all our needs were met, the chef's teams food was just delicious, especially the curated Sri Lankan meals created for us whilst there. Highly recommend to eat some meals at the property as they were the best we had during our trip in Lanka. Great property and look forwarding to coming back soon.

Overview: Ruwan Jungle Homestay is worth your money. If you're curious about the details, keep reading. Location: The homestay is not too far from the beach, with several great restaurants in the vicinity, like Jungle Soul, 101 Restaurant, and Petti Petti – all of which I recommend. Situated at the forest's edge, the area is rich in wildlife, offering sightings of peacocks, various monkeys, countless birds, and even a monitor lizard. If you enjoy being around animals, this place is for you, though be prepared for some noise. The nearby beach is also great for watching turtles in the morning. The Host: I have to mention Ruwan, the host. He was incredibly helpful, fulfilling our requests without asking for extra payment, although I felt it was right to give him something. Just let Ruwan know what you need, and he'll handle it. Additionally, the food Ruwan prepared for us was incredibly delicious. We had curry shrimp that was simply unforgettable. The Room: Our room was excellent, featuring its kitchen where we occasionally cooked seafood. The facilities, including the internet, were all in good working order. I worked remotely for two weeks, and the internet service met my needs. Just a note: as I did, you might need to ask Ruwan to upgrade the internet service for a fee if you require faster speeds. Conclusion: I wholeheartedly recommend Ruwan Jungle Homestay for anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to nature, with excellent service and unforgettable food.

We had the most amazing stay at the Three Gables! We were treated like royalty by Dinuka and his team, truly spoiled! I give this place a 10/10, definitely the best hotel experience I have ever had. Our every need was catered to by the wonderful staff and the property felt very private and exclusive. I don't think I'll be satisfied with any other hotel in future after this experience.

The owner and staff in BeachMirissa Hotel was extremely kind and helpful. We had many good, inspiring and informative talks with the owners. We learned a lot about Sri Lankas history, political and social situation as week as many personal talks. My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay. Everybody at the hotel was so kind to celebrate her.

The best hotel in Mirissa for a reasonable price. We stayed about a week. Definitely recommend to stay here. Prasad is not only the best host, offering a warm welcome, but also a really kind person who is ready to help with everything. He offered the best service and did everything he could to make us feel at home. Included breakfast was home made and fantastic, every day it was different and saturating. We also appreciate Phrasad helped us with renting a Tuck tuck, giving many useful tips and restaurant recommendations. Room was clear and cleaning was offered every day. The hotel is very close to the seashore, everything is located by the hand. We enjoyed a lot. It is a real luck to meet such a good host!

The location was amazing .overlooking the Indian Ocean. A small garden with hammock, table and chairs on the porch. Opened the gate onto the beach path. Fantastic. Didn’t want to leave

One of the best hotel stays we’ve had! The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfasts were definitely the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also want to highlight Malith - he was always around, super friendly, and helped us with any questions we had during our stay. He even printed out activity and sightseeing options near the hotel, which was really thoughtful. The food at the restaurant isn’t cheap, but everything we ordered was delicious - especially the tuna steak. The portion was so big it could easily feed two people!
