Everything, starting from the staff, the food, our own bungalow with views… it was sad leaving this place, we had an amazing experience and we felt in family with Berenice and the staff!

A fabulous location! No shoes necessary, as you relax, snorkel, paddle, walk up the mountain, feast on the Chef’s daily special’s and relax with host, Fabrice.

Such a fabulous location, right over the beach 🏝️, with some of the most glorious sunsets I have ever seen. A reef 5 minutes swim off the shore, and bioluminescence in the water at night … it’s hard to believe this place exists.

The concept of the lush garden, sandy pathways, airy lobby and cozy bungalows is amazing. Very welcoming and calm atmosphere. Quiet place in nature with own sandy beach right in front. Good food is served, also excellent breakfast buffet. The owners are warmhearted and the best hosts you could wish for for a relaxing vacation!

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. All staff is kind and helpful and the situation is amazing.It was memorable experience for us.The room has a balcony and nice view.Also we really enjoyed each meal, especially seafood menu was wonderful. Thanks for all about staying VERONIKA Resort!

The staff were amazing, they took care of us not just the night we stayed in the hotel but all the days we came for food and drinks.

Despite confirmation # they couldn’t find the reservation from Booking.com. Did manage to sort it out and they agreed to match the reserved price. Clean spacious room with 2 beds. Fan and mosquito nets, generator turned off at 2am though so got a little warm.
