We had an excellent stay at Remo e Berenice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel truly at home. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with every meal being a real highlight of our trip. The ambiance of the place is just perfect: relaxed, charming, and full of character, creating the ideal setting to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the attention to detail was impressive. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

A fabulous location! No shoes necessary, as you relax, snorkel, paddle, walk up the mountain, feast on the Chef’s daily special’s and relax with host, Fabrice.

Such a fabulous location, right over the beach 🏝️, with some of the most glorious sunsets I have ever seen. A reef 5 minutes swim off the shore, and bioluminescence in the water at night … it’s hard to believe this place exists.

We have had a beautiful extended weekend. I rate the VERONIKA Resort very, very positively. Truly beautiful, newly built resort, in gorgeous nature. The staff is very kind and friendly. The cuisine is excellent, number one. There's a beautiful coral garden right in front of the resort. The trips and overall organization are very good. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely return next year. Dorisy

We had such a lovely stay at Tamarin Lodge. The location of the bungalows is fantastic, being walking distance to some local restaurants and the local market. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of how beautiful and lush the garden area is and if you’re lucky you’ll spot some lemurs in the trees above. Despite confirmation # they couldn’t find the reservation from Booking.com. Did manage to sort it out and they agreed to match the reserved price. Clean spacious room with 2 beds. Fan and mosquito nets, generator turned off at 2am though so got a little warm.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person.
