The hosts are amazing. They are so caring and attentive, also they have lived an incredible life and Daniela is fascinating to talk to. Her breakfasts are luxurious! The property is beautiful, the area is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The gardens are spectacular. I really enjoyed learning about Daniela and Tony’s lifestyle here. My room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable.

The best part of staying here is that Hector makes you feel like family. He is such a kind man. He's willing to stop what he's doing to help at any time. We felt safe there because he was always either downstairs or nearby. The location is very ideal. It's right off the main road and I liked how it was kind of central to all of the adventures and activities we wanted to do. The Saturday market was also right along that road as well which was cool! It is a great budget friendly place. You have everything you need. Don't expect it to be luxurious but expect to have everything you need here. Plus you get to look out at the lake from your patio! Great coffee spot! There's a couple good restaurants that are walking distance as well as a tiny "pulperia" to get some basic food for the place. If you're wanting to do all of your cooking here just make sure to bring some groceries from the Mainland as your options will be limited.

This was a unique experience open to the elements - be prepared for the sound of waves crashing, wind, insects etc protected well at night by the mosquito net over the bed. Che is very helpful and nothing is a problem. Highly recommend it provided you are prepared for what is on offer.

Breakfast is excellent. Staff is very helpful (we almost missed the bus so Fernando drove us with his scooter!) And the scooter rental worked well.
