We had a great time in Bay of Island Beachhouses. The apartment is very modern and fully equipped with everything you need during your holiday: it has a great, comfy double bed, super and very clean bathroom with separate toilet and a fantastic terrace with a stunning view to the bay. The closest beach is approx. 5 min walk, Paihia center is a bit longer walk but still manageable without car. Theo, the host was very kind and helpful from the minute we got there.

Situated 19 km from Opua Forest, Horse Shoe Manor offers 3-star accommodation in Paihia and has a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi.

Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

These waterfront apartments offer spacious self-contained accommodation with a large lounge/dining area, full kitchen and spa bath. Each apartment has a private balcony with barbecue.

We decided for a spoil and had a suite with amazing views. Clean and tidy and spacious. Located close to shops, restaurants and ferry meant we didn't need to drive for a few days. Parking space was a bit tight but otherwise well worth the splurge.

Not many motels can claim to overlook a waterfall and an ocean-river lagoon, but Waterfalls Estate can.
